Important Compatibility Notice – 2026 Audi RS3 (8Y Facelift)

Due to changes introduced in the factory ECU calibration on 2026 Audi RS3 (8Y Facelift) models equipped with an OPF/GPF system, the vehicle now actively monitors exhaust pressure values both before and after the OPF.

As a result, installing any aftermarket cat-back exhaust system may cause the vehicle to display an OPF/GPF warning light on the dashboard. This is due to the increased exhaust flow and reduced backpressure characteristics of the upgraded exhaust system compared to the factory exhaust.

In most cases, the vehicle will remain fully driveable and no mechanical fault is present. Depending on the vehicle, the warning light may:

• Clear automatically after the ECU adapts to the new exhaust pressure values over time.
• Be resolved by performing an OPF/GPF adaptation reset using suitable diagnostic equipment.
• Be eliminated through ECU recalibration performed by a qualified tuning specialist.
